3 Great south shore Restaurants all within walking distance

Brennecke’s Beach Broiler
Brennecke’s is a local and visitor favorite with a delicious steak and seafood menu there is always something to please even the pickiest of eaters. Being a Vegetarian, I choose the Brennecke’s Vegetarian Burge,r it comes with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and guacamole on a sesame seed bun. For lunch their prices range from $10 to $20 and for dinner the prices go to $16 to $30 a piece. Their prices are comparable for the quality of food and the great atmosphere with the beautiful Po’ipu beach in the distance. For more information feel free to visit their website.

Merriman’s Market Café
Merriman’s is one of my favorite places to eat. They have the widest selection of quality vegetarian food I’ve seen on the island. While many say they cook vegetarian it’s just not tasty – that’s not the case with Merriman’s café. Each bite is to die for and will leave you wanting more. If you’re not looking for a casual atmosphere to sip a beer then Merriman’s Fish House would be the place to be. With a broader dinner menu, Merriman’s fish house provides a delectable assortment of local fish and steak, space is always limited and reservations are highly suggested. Merriman’s Café prices start at $10 – $20 and Merriman’s Fish House (Upstairs) varies from $35 to $75 a piece. Feel free to visit their site.

Keoki’s Paradise
If you’re looking for great atmosphere and beautiful waterscapes to view while eating dinner this is the restaurant for you. Keoki’s offers exceptional service at a good price. The staff is always very friendly and the food leaves you full and happy. The atmosphere is what most people go there for, with multiple man made waterfalls outside the restaurant and the open and airy feel it is always nice to break away and be casual in a very beautiful setting. Prices vary and start from $15 to $40 a piece. See their menu and other info at their site.
